Introduction:
Danny is a HK Registered Physiotherapist, graduated at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and obtained his qualification as a Registered Chinese Practitioner at the University of Hong Kong. With more than 15 years of practicing experience at Hospital Authority, Danny has acquired extensive experience, especially in using an East-meets-West approach to treat different conditions such as chronic pain, stroke, etc. Back in 1997, he was appointed by Kwong Wah Hospital to establish and supervise the 1st Pain & Acupuncture Center under the umbrella of Hospital Authority. With his vision and mission in East-meets-West approach, Danny has been participated in many research and development programs of stroke, spinal disorders, neck pain, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. in the past decade.

In addition, Danny is committed to provide quality training to on-job physiotherapist on the effective usage of acupuncture in pain treatment during their practices. He has provided training to over 200 physiotherapists in past 5 years. In 2005, Danny was invited by The Society of Anaesthetists of Hong Kong to provide acupuncture practice training to general practitioners. He is also the guest tutor in East-meets-West approach of The Open University of Hong Kong. Throughout his career, Danny has maintained a progressive portfolio of continuing education and undertaken various professional courses on both Chinese and Western medicines. Three years ago, he successfully invented a set of revolutionary massotherapy – COMT Technique, which has been proven effective and widely recognized by over 100 physiotherapists in their pain treatment practice.

Possessing both the qualifications of Registered Physiotherapist and Registered Chinese Practitioner has already set Danny out from the crowd. He also obtained the Master degree in Pain Management and Acupuncture from University of Wales College of Medicine and The University of Hong Kong respectively. With his vast experience and enriched knowledge, Danny is often interviewed by various media and or invited by Hospital Authority to deliver speeches or comments on health and medical topics.
