Our center specializes in combining acupuncture with targeted exercises designed by physiotherapists. For acupuncture treatment, in addition to using acupoints specific for stroke treatment, we also utilize the highly regarded Zi Wu Liu Zhu acupuncture method, which helps patients more easily experience qi sensations during treatment (such as warmth, cooling, or energy flow sensations). This helps to promote smooth flow through the body's meridians, enhancing the rehabilitation process.

Our center's Clinical Director is Dr. Chan Kwok Ching, a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner and registered physiotherapist with 17 years of experience in treating stroke patients using integrated Chinese and Western medicine approaches. Dr. Chan was also a former Clinical Part-time Instructor at the Institute of Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
